Feature :   Baxian is the latest variety of Dancong tea, and is usually picked in late April or early May. In recent years, the variety of Baxian is very popular in the Dancong  oolong world. Every year at the end of April and the beginning of May, when the Baxian begins to be picked, the villages on Fenghuang Mountain that are famous for Baxian are seriously congested. Tea merchants and tea lovers from all over the country are crowded into those popular villages. If you have been to Fenghuang Mountain during the spring tea season, you know the terrible traffic jam.

First of all, the variety of Baxian does not have such a blatant aroma as other dancong varieties, but its selling point is that this variety has very rich internal quality. This Baxian is an ancient tree with an age of more than 70 years. It grows in Liziping Village, Fenghuang Mountain. The soil is typical volcanic ash, which is very permeable. Tea trees planted on such soil have rich circulation.

I roasted this tea using the Wuyi rock tea roasting method, which belongs to medium fire. The tea has a very obvious woody flavor. The tea soup is very oily and full, and the mountain charm is very obvious ,  Persistence  As soon as you take a sip, you know it is a high-end tea.
