Wuyi Origin was born from the meeting of two traditions and one shared devotion to tea. Cindy Chen grew up among the cliffs and mist of Wuyishan, where her family has tended tea for generations. Since 2008 she has cared for her own garden and factory, carrying forward this heritage with dedication and craft. Mr. Zhou comes from Raoping in Chaozhou, a land celebrated for Phoenix Dan Cong, where his own family has long shaped tea with patience and skill.
Drawn together by the leaves they both cherished, Cindy and Mr. Zhou married in 2013. Today they live in Wuyishan, working side by side, continuing their family legacies and opening their world of tea to those who seek its spirit.

I finally get to try it this morning and oh I was in for a very pleasant surprise. Brewed mine in a Zini pot and the tea just blew me away. I thought the Qi Lan (also from W.O) was good, but this one was even better. Floral, fruity, spicy, and sweet, so intricately combined together to form a perfect cup of tea.
I did four steeps and each steep reveals a unique taste that make this tea so good and wonderful. 1st steep was floral with a hint of spice. 2nd steep was fruity and much sweeter. 3rd & 4th revealed a complex layers of different flavors combined. Just a perfect morning cup of tea on a cold and damp morning.
never had such a creamy, rich white tea before. it has so much body, still very vegetal because it's so fresh but hints of grapefruit and whispers of heavy spices like cinnamon on the first steeping
very drying, as well. i suppose that's astringency but it's not an unpleasant sort of feeling.
on the nose it's lavender, nectar, and buttered green beans
very distant florality, almost none to speak of, i use lavender as just a placeholder for the lightness of the potpurri
cha qi is cooling and calming at first, and builds into a roaring flame that sends the senses swimming.
it has great longevity, and the dense variety of flavors take their turns at the forefront as the leaves awaken and relinquish their secrets to the broth.
in all, i guess it's ok :D (phenomenal)
This tea is high level. Gentle, sweet notes with a clean mouth feel, lovely, warm finish and elevated head feel. Very good price for a premier tea. Recommended.

1 of the best I ever tried. A tea drinker for nearly 50 yrs, this is definitely a keeper and 1 of my top 5 favorite. Very fragrant, smooth, velvety. The sweetness lingers around seemingly forever. Most importantly, not a hint of bitterness/astringency whatsoever, which is rare for black tea, and the price offered is a steal for tea this good, if not outright great. Highly recommended for novice and seasoned tea drinker alike.
Brewed mine in Zisha Zini claypot at around 95-100 Celsius.
This tea is beautifully smooth with barely any smoke, just enough to give depth. It’s a cozy, gently sweet cup that feels aged in all the right ways. It was really pleasant.

This is, in my opinion, one of the best teas Cindy has ever offered. Just try it. The smell, the taste, the mouth feel... everything is so so good!
Where do I start? This tea is really nice! Calming, but also energising. The smell is the first thing you notice. Almond flowers moving into orchid, apricot kernel, and light honey. The taste is like a warming marzipan followed by a sharp edge and a mineral background.
I brewed this in a 100ml Zhuni Chaozhou teapot. 7g of tea. Flash steeps. 2.5L of water later the tea is still coming. Delicious and value for money. Do yourself a favour, drop your Starbucks tea and replace it with this.
